webpage problems

I’ve had some problems with my webpage lately but I hope it will be fixed during the week. I hope to get the guestbook up running and some new pictures in the picture gallery.

The race

I placed 30th, almost 13min behind the winner in a 2hour race. I’m not happy with being that far from the winner, but at least i didn’t get beaten by the girls… It was a terrible race; headwind and waves from the side most of the time. I didn’t manage to relax in these conditions and i got really tired in some backmuscles that
i apparantly don’t use for flatwater. paddling. You can’t go faster than the waves, but the best surfski paddlers knows how to ride every wave. A guy like me manage to surf on maybe every fifth wave. Tim Jacobs from Australia won the race, Ken Wallace 18th, Ben Fouhy 24, Manuel Busto 31, Tim Brabants 39. I had a great time in Dubai and the surfski paddlers made us flatwater guys feel very welcome. I had some good training sessions with both Tim Jacobs and David Mocke where they taught me everything about surfski paddling. If i come back next year I will definetly practice a lot more so i can manage to use the knowledge i got from these awesome guys and place top 20?
