I’ve been in my home town, flekkefjord, for some days. I had some good sessions with the youths at my club. As you can see we did some crew boat sessions, and on this session we had two k4’s with girls and two k2’s on the water. I’m going back to oslo today, and i will go hunting for moose at the end of this week and the beginning of next week..
I’m south of Oslo hunting for ducks. Got 3 ducks so far today, all shoot from my k2 sea kayak. Here i am eating lunch and waiting for ducks to land on the small islands.
Nelo invited 80 of their best athletes to Porto to attend the meeting of champions 2008. It can easily be summarized as 4days of fun and partying! The picture is from the yellow party which was held at an old castle. We also partyed one night at the casino and one night at the hottest nightclub, where we had our own VIP lounge. Thanks a million to Nelo for throwing this amazing party. You know you are one of the best paddlers in the world when you are invited to the Meeting of Champions! Train hard and maybe you will make it some day…
We didn’t just party while we where in Portugal, we also had time to visit the factory where new models were unveiled. All the medalwinners from Beijing got a new kayak, Vanquish 3, from Nelo!
The new Vanquish looks fantastic. I’ll get my boat to norwav in a couple of weeks and i’ll let you know how it feels to paddle.
