I’ve one week left here in Seiser Alm and I’m starting to hurt from all the hours of training. Sunday is rest day and I’m definetly going to spend some hours in the hotel spa! We’ve moved the Dansprint from the garage to the fitness room and are know paddling with an amazing view of the mountains. Adaptation to high altitude has gone according to plan and I can now paddle at the same speed and HR as home.

It’s good to be back in Seiser Alm, Northern Italy, for high altitude
training. I’m here with Olaf Tufte and the rowing team, the best Swedish
rower, Lassi Karonen, is also here. On the kayak team we are three: Mira
Falch, Jo Sondre Solhaug and myself. Morten Ivarsen is here as the coach at
the moment. Conditions are great and training is going well
