This year I’m celebrating Christmas in London. My sister and her family lives her, my family, Mira and I are ready for an english Christmas this year. Today I did most of the shopping, no reason to bring presents from Norway. Normally I’m celebrating Christmas in Flekkefjord and training a lot with friends from the local kayak club. This year I will only eat, no training…Here I am at Trafalger Square in front of the Norwegian Christmas tree. I wish you all a Happy Christmas!

As always I was hoping to place higher….nothing went wrong so this is my level. Best european was Manuel Busto on 22nd and Nuno Andre Santos from Portugal and Nelo came 23rd! Tim Jacobs won, David Mocke 2nd, Matt Baumann 3rd and Murray Stewart 4th. Waves and wind were good but not straight downwind which made it hard. I had a good time here in Dubai and if I want to improve more I need to train my surfing skill. The Nelo ski is running great.

Tuesday, December 01, 2009 // Ready!
My oceanski is tuned and race stickers are on. Look out for number 8…or not. Last year I placed 30 and was 2nd best European, this year I hope to place a little higher. You can follow the action on http://www.surfski.info or http://www.dubaishamaal.com
