Thursday, February 19, 2009 // Sprint x-country skating

Today Jacob and I joined some of the national team sprint guys ( Anders Gløersen, Øystein Pettersen and Jens Arne Svartedal) for a session. Needless to say; we got smoked big time! It was very interesting to learn from the best and see what kind of training they do.

Sunday, February 15, 2009 // x country racing

Yesterday I competed in a 42km x-country race. I placed 33th and was 9min and 43sec behind the winner. I had a good race and couldn’t have gone any faster. I was beaten by Olaf Tufte (the rower) with 90sec, so that was not good. As you can see from the picture it’s difficult to paddle in Oslo at the moment.

Thursday, February 12, 2009 // fan from Germany

Today a big fan from Germany visited me here in Oslo. Tom Kiery is 14years old, he’s from Dresden and one of the best paddlers on his age in Germany. We did a good indoor session together at the club. Tom is on vacation in Norway with his parents.
